Preview: In Search of Home
Our opening exhibition Preview: In Search of Home, offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the process of creating our permanent exhibit. Named one of Chicago’s Best Museum Exhibits of 2011 by the Chicago Tribune, Preview: In Search of Home introduces visitors to how we collect artifacts and stories and how we create an exhibition design. By participating in our prototype interactives, visitors can provide feedback to directly affect the final design of the permanent exhibition. This exhibit explains how all of these elements work together to create an engaging experience while also exploring the content of the Greek Journey from Myth to Modern Day through artifacts, images, and other interactive experiences. Come explore, interact, and let us know what you think.
