School Field Trip Request


  • Please enter a value between 1 and 120.
  • There is a maximum of 120 students per time slot. Time slots are only available between 10:30am and 2:30pm.
  • We require 1 chaperone for every 10 students. 1 for every 6 students, if the students are under six-years-old. Any additional chaperones will be charged general admission.
  • If you are requesting a School Program (docent-led tour and activity), please complete the following sections.

  • Early Childhood to Lower Elementary: Grades Pre-K - 3

  • Self-Discovery Dialogic Art Projects (5th –High School)

  • Section C - Exploring Exhibitions


Book your field trip at least three weeks in advance. After booking your field trip, cancellation and rescheduling is allowed up to two weeks before your scheduled tour. Please also give advance notice of any changes to the group size. For more information, download the full Cancellation Policy.

school request pageAll groups must have one chaperone for every 10 children (one for every six, for groups of children age six and under). Additional adults will be charged general admission.

There is no public museum parking lot, but buses may drop off visitors in front of the museum on the east side of Halsted. Additional parking is available at paid lots in the area or street parking.

If you would like to eat lunch at the museum, we allow bagged lunches in our classroom for groups of less than 90 children. Please let us know if you need a place to eat lunch when you book the program.

The National Hellenic Museum reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event hosted at the Museum, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. The museum may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by the museum, including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.
